When Can I Test?
At the earliest 4 days before your period is due. The closer to the due date, the more reliable the result.
What Makes the Test Vegan?
The antibodies used for hCG detection come from diatoms – not from animal sources. In addition, production is carried out without animal testing.
Do I Need the App for the Result?
No, you don’t need it. The test itself shows you the result clearly and distinctly. If you want, you can also use the hey mela® app: It scans your test result and confirms whether you are pregnant or not. The app also shows you the possible time of fertilization. Especially practical: Your test results can be saved there – helpful if you want to have children and want to keep an eye on your results over several months.
Is Hey Mela a Medical Device?
Yes, hey mela® is certified according to IVDR 13485 – i.e. an approved medical device.
How Do I Dispose of the Test?
The test belongs in the residual waste because the test strip comes into contact with urine. Although the housing is made of bio-plastic, it must not be recycled for hygienic reasons.
